Grant McDonald is a 2022 OF/1B/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Big and athletic broad shouldered build, good present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced and upright stance, quiet load to start his swing, has some length and extension through contact, gets his lower half into his swing, has present bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel hard, pull side to mid field contact. Runs well for his size, 7.11 in the sixty. Showed good arm strength both in the outfield and the infield, actions in the outfield were solid with good actions and footwork for the ball, makes accurate throws. Good athlete whose strength can make an impact on offense. Exceptional student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
