Ely Kennel is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Monmouth, OR who attends Santiam Christian HS. Recorded a 6.58 second 60-yard dash time. Twitchy athlete with wiry strength and plus speed. Primary shortstop who moves really well and surrounds the ball nicely. Clean transfers with throws recorded up to 85 mph across the diamond. Seriously athletic mover and could likely play centerfield too if needed. Left-handed hitter with plus bat speed. Hammers balls to the pull side with authority and big carry off the bat. High hand set, high back elbow, with a big leg lift trigger. Whips the barrel extremely hard and has immense power to the pull side. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Oregon State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
