Reid Plum is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Liberty. He ran a 7.04 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a long lean build, has plenty to project on in the frame. He starts with a deliberate delivery with a long arm action working to a three-quarters arm slot. The fastball showed good arm side run in the 77-81 mph range, curveball has 11-5 shape and shows better bite when the arm speed in consistent with the fastball, length and downward plane with the curveball mixed in make for a tougher at bat on right-handed hitters. On the infield he showed developing feel for the glove with long actions through the transfer and release. At first base he works around the ball with the glove out front. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance, stays tall throughout the swing with a direct bat path working mostly level through the zone with some bat speed. Good Student.
