Matthew Gobel is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Lodi, CA who attends Lodi High School. Tall athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Primary right handed pitcher, has an easy repeatable delivery. The fastball sat 79-83 mph, it had natural cut off the plate. located it to the top half of the zone creating swing and misses. Also worked out in the outfield, lets the ball come, displayed a strong arm with good arm whip. Right handed hitter, showed good pop, has a long level swing that generated line drives. Excellent student.
