Dylan Beaton is a 2025 SS/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends St. Brendan. Recorded a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with an athletic, wiry frame. Moved well in the dirt with quick feet. Showed soft hands and arm strength, reaching 80 mph across the diamond. Also worked in the outfield and showed athletic actions with some twitch. Right-handed hitter and starts from an even base. Employs a mechanically sound swing and gets through the ball well. Has physcial projection and room for added strength. Also pitched, worked a side step into the delivery and a core level leg lift. Delivery is loose and atheletic with a quick tempo. Worked up to 76 mph with the fastball, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Mixed in a depthy 11-5 shaped curveball as the go-to secondary. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
