Ryan Tressler is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Gallatin, TN who attends Davidson Academy. Recorded a 6.76 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and room to fill out. Very good athlete. Primary righthanded pitcher with a big rocker step into a high leg lift. Full arm stroke through an over the top arm slot. Creates steep plane on the fastball due to slot and was recorded up to 81 mph. Sharp slider and the arm speed and whippiness project well. Fastball flashed some cutting action and the changeup dives downward well. Strong three pith mix. Arm strength played nicely from secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with a small leg lift trigger forward and a level swing plane. Direct swing to contact. Good student.
