2024 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Jordan Yearby is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano East. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.56 in the sixty, sprinted out a game triple in 11.84 sec. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball and uses his quick feet to his advantage, gets the glove down early, straight over the top arm slot with some carry on his throws, gets rid of the ball quickly in his transfer and release, range should be an obvious plus. Also worked out in the infield but throws from the same over the top slot, plenty athletic enough for the dirt but would have to do lots of work throwing before playing there extensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced base wit a long stride into contact, upper body rotational swing, clears his hips, hands to be long into the zone but have good quickness, has the bat speed and hand strength to impact the ball, swung it well in the games. Good student, signed with Butler CC. Named to the Sunshine Texas Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
