Thomas Munch is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Cherokee Trail. He has a good frame with an athletic build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Primary catcher that does a nice job of staying low through the process. He has quick feet and doesn't cover much ground to second but does a nice job of staying online. He has soft, quick hands that makes the transfers easy. He has a quick release and a good arm from behind the plate, allowing him to have an impressive 2.00 second pop time to second. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He has quick hands that he keeps close to his body and stays inside the baseball well. He has a rotational swing and showed pop to the pull side when he is on time and makes contact in front of the plate. Very good student. Named to the Rocky Mountain Workout Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
