Ethan Dejesus is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Sumner High School. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Strong runner, posted a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step at start of delivery into a belt high leg lift, athleticism plays on the mound, shorter arm swing working up to a three-quarters release point. Balanced and controlled operation out of the wind, creates downhill plane to fastball and topped out at 84 mph in this look. Showed comfort landing slider and can do so to both sides of the plate up to 75 mph and mixed both the slider and mid-70s changeup for strikes with some fading life, feel for both. Hands worked in the dirt both forehand and backhand, showed lateral range and big arm strength across the diamond with accuracy, maintained balance on the charge. Switch-hitter, begins with a wide base and high hand set and back elbow at the plate, shows fluidity to barrel head coming through the zone with steady line drive contact to the pull side. More lift from left-handed swing, occasionally gets around the ball but shows the ability to impact the ball out front. Very good student.
