Gavin Hamrick is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Young, lean build with a good amount of room to continue adding strength. 7.36 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, slightly open front side and narrow setup, simple foot lift trigger, coils deep into back leg, turns and creates torque in the lower half. Gets the barrel out front consistently, good hand-eye coordination, has feel for the barrel. Will continue to grow into power. Primary outfielder with good fundamentals. Fields the ball with one hand, medium arm swing, low and accurate throws. High energy player. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stretch only operation, quality extension down the mound. Hides the ball well, long fluid arm stroke to a low three-quarters release. Fastball had some life, up to 77 mph (1709 RPM). Breaking ball came out of the same slot, with consistent shape and depth. Also worked out in the infield, had natural actions, moves well around the dirt, clean funnel, quick transfer and a good arm across. Solid internal clock, gets rid of the ball quickly. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
