Braden Gabel is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Mount Paran Christian. Medium athletic with some compact strength to him and more to come. 6.86 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good first step quickness and takes direct routes to ground balls, can get his glove down earlier, has a quick transition into throwing, overall tool set might be best suited for second base. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a high hand start with a big lift and replace leg trigger, stays well timed and gets the barrel into the zone on time consistently, swings hard and has some hand speed and strength on contact, consistent hard line drives to mid field and the pull side. Used his speed aggressively on the bases. Solid well rounded tools and skills. Excellent student.
