Michael Marchese is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Joseph by the Sea. Medium, lean frame. Ran a 6.70 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, two hand gather and has a tendency to stop momentum upon gather, utilized a two hand gather to field and funnel the baseball throughout the round, longer exchange with mid 80's arm strength. Right-handed hitter, wide and open base, double toe tap trigger to square, some consistent pull-side contact shown, working to leverage the barrel and work more linedrives to the grass, contact oriented approach at present. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
