Luke Williams is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Murrysville, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Outstanding runner, 6.39 in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, is very aggressive to the ball and can get out of control working into his transitions, big raw arm strength with developing accuracy, has all the tools to be a high level defensive shortstop but is still developing the skills. Also worked out in the outfield and could become an elite defensive center fielder, plays with bounce and energy and has highest level arm strength and makes accurate one hop throws. Run and throw tools are as good as one will find. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a rock back load, hard load/trigger to repeat and time, lots of raw bat speed and power potential. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Virginia.
