Alex Kerr is a 2022 RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Medium frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.31 sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a good temp while balanced throughout the operation. Loads up on back side when he gets to the top and drops down the mound. Working with an athletic delivery as he releases from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball was up to 78 with arm side run as he flashed some feel for both sides of the dish. Went directly at hitters with the fastball and looked to get ahead early. Breaking ball had sharp spin with 11-to-5 break. Was able to land it for strikes and keep hitters off-balance. Also flashed some feel for a changeup as well with late fade to it. Showing some pitchability and will make a jump with a physical strength gain. Outstanding Student.
