Jack Garver is a 2025 C/1B/OF with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Mount Pisgah Christian. Large athletic frame with dense muscular strength and present overall athleticism that projects well at the next level. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Primary position catcher, with a very simple operation behind the dish. No wasted motion, secures the ball and works clean midline transfer to a longer release. Fundamentally sound and as he quickens mechanically will get to another level. Very good arm strength, clean backspin with carry to the bag up to 81 mph with a pop-time best 1.95 seconds. Reps from the outfield and at 1B, with basic actions and methodical movement to the ball. Making plays and the arm plays from every spot, true arm talent up to 91 from the outfield and 87 on the clay. RHH starting open and upright with a lower handset and a bit of a segmented trigger. Strength once again evident here and when on time he does damage. Toe tap trigger a bit off time here and there but gets on plane and launches. Can refine mechanics but gets to the barrel and there is no mistaking the violence at impact. Elite performer in the class room as well.
