2024 National Pre-Draft Showcase
Vito LaRosa is a 2024 OF/UT with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Northport, NY who attends Northport. Long and lanky athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.36 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, obviously going to have superior range with his length and speed as he gets repetitions, has a loose and whippy arm that projects well, can be more aggressive approaching balls on the ground. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with minimal lower half shift, upper body rotational swing with some length to it, has some lift out front and is looking to pull the ball, some bat speed with more to come as he adds strength and physical maturity. Interesting athlete who still has lots of developing ahead of him. Good student, signed with Manhattan. Named to the National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
