Nicholas Youngblood is a 2025 C/1B/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Pinson, AL who attends Clay-Chalkville. Athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow load, aggressive hitter who swings hard and creates bat speed, showed power to all fields and had four extra base hits in the games, sat on spin and recognized it early and jumped on it, very good barrel to ball skills, very hitterish actions overall. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has very sound fundamentals and makes accurate throws, solid footwork in all regards, has enough arm strength. Also worked out in the infield and is plenty athletic enough to play second base. Bat really stood out. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
