2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Benjamin Wilson is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends El Paso. Medium frame with some good musculature for a young athlete and twitchy overall skillset. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.72 seconds. Primary position outfielder, getting to the ball with good angles and game like speed. Clean gather through the midline and works through a low 3/4 arm slot. Emerging overall arm strength with accurate throws up to 78 mph back to the infield. Reps at 1B as well, making plays and showing familiarity around the bag. Two hand gather with solid hands and making plays. Short arm action here with feeds up to 76 mph across the diamond. LHH working from a wide base and simple overall operation. Lower handset, low back elbow slot, creating short separation and working the middle of the field. Compact stroke and working the inside of the ball peppering the ball gap-to-gap. Stays on the barrel and has hitterish overall traits. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
