Vaughn Howard is a 2027 3B/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Gulf Breeze, FL who attends Gulf Breeze. Medium size, physical frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Worked out in both the infield and outfield. Showed corner outfield traits with smooth footwork to the baseball, momentum that carried through the ball, a clean transition and above average arm strength with accuracy. Showed quick reactions in the infield with efficient movements laterally, soft hands fielding, and a quick release with solid average arm strength. Made a real impressive backhand play in game and threw a runner out from behind the bag. In game hitting ability really stood out, got to the barrel multiple times and had extra base hits to both gaps. It's a short compact swing with loose wrists and a level path through the zone. Real impressive blend of pure hitting ability and power projection. Named to event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
