John Peters is a 2024 RHP/2B, 3B, SS with a 6-2 192 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh. Recorded a 7.58 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, projectable frame with some present lower half strength and time to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with controlled, balanced delivery and well-engaged lower half throughout. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 81 mph from a lower three-quarters delivery. Developing command with some inconsistencies in his release point, flashing both heavy sink and run when on-time and in-sync. Mixed in well-replicated changeup as his secondary offering, controlling it well to his arm-side. Plenty of projection and upside on the mound. Will continue to improve with minor refinements to delivery and maturity. Secondary infielder with developing defensive skill set; incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, while showing some lateral range and a clean funnel out in front. Displayed strong lower half, working downhill through the baseball to produce arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open stance with a high, tight hand set and hover trigger for timing. Compact stroke with slightly downhill swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Whole field approach with developing feel for the barrel and some strength through contact. Will continue to improver with proper swing adjustments and maturity. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
