Taylan Siens is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rogers, MN who attends St. Michael-Albertville. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty-yard dash time. Taller frame with a thin build. Primary shortstop with athleticism with quicker feet and feel for the lateral angles with soft hands and clean glove actions. Clean funnel up the middle and adjusts slots well with good strength across. Recored throws up to 87 during infield drills. Also threw an inning on the mound. Right-handed pitcher works from a side-step with a leg lift up above the belt. Has a longer takeaway and a longer arm circle through the back with some whip to it. Acceleration through it was good. The fastball (2379 RPM) was 81-84 with some life to it and good plane to it with some downhill angle and occasional arm-side run. Also showed some arm-side sink when he located to the arm-side. The low-70s curveball (2456 RPM) had good 12-6 depth. Just needs to get around it a little more. Right-handed hitter starts from an even base and a slightly open stance with high hands and an even back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Huge bat wrap with a quick barrel and a ton of intent in the swing. Worked the opposite field well with good involvement in the lower half and some bat speed. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Excellent student.
