Dylan Belyea is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Memorial. Growing build has some body potential as he fills out, showed some good present athleticism on the mound. Right handed pitcher, worked exclusively out of the stretch effectively. Simple operation to the plate was under control and well repeated, showed great feel for his mechanics throwing with intent and filling up the zone. Chest high leg lift is balanced, lower half is in tact and generates good force off the rubber. Arm releases at a 3/4 slot with good whip out of the loose arm action. Topped the fastball out at 77 with life and flashed a developing breaking ball with 11/5 shape. Posted an impressive outing making quick work and living under barrels. In the outfield, uses a two handed gather funneled to the middle of the body. Developing footwork limited some range, compensates with a quick arm with good velocity. Showed better field awareness and steps in the infield, moved well side to side with good glove skills. Longer arm action translates off the mound to the field but is accurate. Right handed hitter covers the zone well, shows a down barrel path. Looked to pull and consistently found the barrel, did a good running into a few out front. Good student, named to 2021 South Showcase Top Prospect List.
