Cal Tiner is a 2025 C/2B, 3B, UT with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Chaparral. Thicker, compact frame with some present strength showing throughout. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, showing right knee down stance, developing arm strength, footwork can get a tad inconsistent, some present actions here that point towards projection long term with this, around the bag with pops, game like reps, good rhythm when right. Secondary infielder, waits back on it some, hands work out front, can field it deep at times, lateral coordination present, changed slots, good round and made all the plays. Right-handed hitter, medium base with small toe tap trigger, deeper hand load, flatter path, solid intent, some bat speed present, all fields approach, aggressive swings, balanced despite the effort, clean round. Solid all around ballplayer, should continue to improve over the next year with skillset that could translate to a program at the next level. Great student,

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
