2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Brandon Toadvine is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Rhodesdale, MD who attends Saint Michaels Middle High School. Tall, athletic frame with present strength especially in the lower half. Primary left-handed pitcher, good energy and tempo to the operation, clean mechanics working down the mound with a fast arm. Challenges with a three pitch mix, fastball worked mostly at 82-84 mph (2243 RPM) with feel to work to both sides. Turned over a good changeup at 79 mph (1293 RPM) and also showed a short slider at 73 mph (2201 RPM). 7.47 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Secondary first baseman, solid footwork around the bag, some bounce to the step and gets the ball out quickly. Has feel to change arm angles and fed the double play well, recorded throws up to 82 mph. Left-handed hitter, medium and even feet, high hands and back elbow in the stance, simple stride out into contact and stays balanced. Developing feel for the barrel, flashed impact to the pull-side.
