Chance Baisden is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 240 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs. Extra large frame with dense strength and a pure power oriented skillset to follow closely. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Primary position 1B, moving well on his feet and showing feel for what he's doing around the bag. Good pivot and well developed footwork leading to making all the plays in his reps. Glove is accurate and secures the ball with ease leading to deeper funnel to throw. Feeds with accuracy across the diamond up to 81 mph, well done. Secondary RHP, getting down the mound with good direction and acceleration through a classic 3/4 arm angle. Shorter arm path getting under the ball here and there. Arm side run on the heater up to 79 mph with contact deadening spin traits. Developing curve ball in the upper-60s with some depth at the plate. Stayed on the edges of the zone and worked quickly. RHH with a strong stance, high handset, high back elbow and an incredible amount of strength in the hands. Bullying the ball, generating loud, low-liners gap to gap and occasionally showing big lofted power. Some things to refine with the swing but there is no denying the power. Outstanding student with big tools to follow in the coming months.
