Judson Dowell is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lamar. Big and strong athletic build, pretty physically mature for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight wide base with a high hand load, has an aggressive swing approach and swings hard with big present bat speed, ball comes off hard, was well timed in the games with consistent hard pull contact, power is going to be there as he continues to develop. 6.63 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has step by step actions through the ball, arm works well and creates some on line carry on his throws, more arm strength there with more momentum carries into his throws. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a compact high 3/4's arm action, hides the ball well and his stuff plays up. Fastball sat in the mid-80's and was thrown for strikes, change up was a solid second pitch with good feel and firmness. Talented athlete with lots of strength. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
