Gavin Darling is a 2024 3B/C/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lennon, MI who attends Luke M. Powers Catholic. Medium build with a strong lower half. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, plays with good balance and sound footwork, fields the ball cleanly and makes plays, arm strength is playable and makes accurate throws. Also catches and shows some promise here, has good flexible lower half actions and quick feet, athletic in his movements, quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Versatility will be a plus for him defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an aggressive move into contact, swings hard while staying short and direct to the ball, rotates his lower half well, showed some pull and lift ability, has some projection as a hitter.
