Benjamin Reed is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Primary Right-handed Pitcher, featuring an athletic frame with strength throughout and room to add. Side step pause in the wind up into a big turn, showing the hitters both the numbers, into a crossfire delivery with solid lower half drive towards the plate. Fastball flashes cutting action and gets on the hitters quick with high spin (2400+). Slider stays short and firm with some depth and he can spin it (2500+RPM). Secondary Outfielder that can move out there and works through the baseball without breaking momentum. Has a big arm, working uphill (89 velo) with one hop accuracy to the bags. Medium base at the plate with a high back elbow and a small leg lift load to get the swing started. Path is short with intent and barrel control. Power to all fields with an exit velo of 91. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List. Excellent Student.
