Jaden Saavedra is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-9 186 lb. frame from South Lyon, MI who attends South Lyon East. Primary catcher with a medium sized frame with strength. Starts out low in the crouch and gains a ton of ground through the plate. Pops up quickly and athletically replacing the feet well while gaining momentum. Has a quick transfer and release and was accurate to the bag with a ton of strength behind his throws. Recorded a 1.99 pop time and was 80 from behind the dish. Also played infield moving well laterally and has a good idea with his footwork. Has a strong arm with a clean funnel and gather and quick transfer and release. Cleaner arm action was throwing darts across the diamond up to 87. Ran a 7.08 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a wide base starting slightly open. Has a high handset as they get deep into the load. Rotates quick at the top half of things and can clear the hips with ease producing a ton of bat speed. Controls the barrel well with loud impact strength out in front. Showed a middle of the field approach with quick hands. Excellent student. Named to the TP List.
