Jordan Davis is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill. Big and strong athletic build. Works from a high leg raise delivery with good hip coil over the rubber, rides the slope well and gets downhill, good tempo to his operation, hides the ball well with a mid 3/4's arm slot with good extension out front at release. Fastball topped out at 86 mph and worked mostly in the 81-84 mph range with some running life, did a good job of spotting his fastball from side to side and wasn't afraid to come inside to hitters with intent. Threw a mid-70's slider as his breaking ball, not consistent on the release yet but flashed tightness and sharp biting action, will be a good pitch for him down the road. 7.89 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound, showed good one spot athleticism on defense, turns well and makes accurate throws, tons of arm strength for the position. Right handed hitter, loads his hands low and deep, big stride into his swing, fires his front hip hard and separates early, mostly pull side contact. Good student.
