Brody Black is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Orange Beach, AL who attends Orange Beach High School. Slender build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.71 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, comes to the ball well and keeps his momentum through his throws, fields the ball to the side, good transition into his throws, quick and compact arm action, made accurate one hop throws, speed will be a definite asset. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift into contact, rotational upper body swing. ine drive swing plane with contact to all fields. Key to his future will be how he develops as a hitter as the run/throw/defensive tools are high level. Good student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
