Keyen Marquez is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 188 lb. frame from Carefree, AZ who attends Cactus Shadows. Recorded a 7.60 second sixty yard dash time. Larger frame with some strength present. Primary outfielder that gets around the ball with a deliberate first step. Accurate throws and stays in his direction and process. Secondary first baseman with a sleeper entry funnel. Arm was on time and accurate. Solid mover around the bag. Also threw on the mound. The left-handed pitcher works from a full wind-up from the third base side. Up above the belt leg lift with the hands breaking at the chin and into a slightly deeper arm path. Releases from a high three- quarter slot. Good rhythm to the operation with solid lower half usage. Gets over his front side. Filled the zone early with the low-to-mid 70s fastball (1876 RPM). Mixed in a 1-7 shaped curveball (2027 RPM) with late action on the horizontal axis. Also flashed a change-up that killed spin with some late fade. Switch-handed hitter starts from a medium base with a hand-driven short, direct swing. Middle-of-the-field line drive oriented swing. Strong hands. Excellent student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
