Drew McRae is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Needville, TX who attends Needville. Strong athletic build. Works from the stretch with a quick arm swing to a 3/4's arm slot, can get too quick down the mound occasionally stays over the rubber well for the most part. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with consistent hard sink and run. Slider gets good sweeping action with some power behind it. Turns over his change up well. Has three solid pitches and he throws them all for strikes with feel, struck out 7 hitters in 3 innings. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a comfortable low hand load, swings hard and has some bat speed, can get into his strong lower half more, best when he's getting the ball in the air and driving it, has some offensive potential. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.
