Nathan Innerfield is a 2022 OF/RHP, UT with a 6-2 157 lb. frame from Weare, NH who attends John Stark Regional. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist, long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, shows looseness to actions, long arm action through the back with a high front side, remains low on approach, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Young actions in the infield, similar arm action through backside, extra step into release, shows accuracy on throws across diamond when on top of ball. Also pitched, short turn into delivery, tight leg lift up to belt with a slight cave on backside coming down the mound. Full arm action through the back, works to a three-quarters release point and topped out at 73 mph with fastball, mostly true in life. Flashed a changeup with diving life up to 64 mph, curveball flashes 11-5 shape with some depth, shows a feel for the pitch. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing at the plate. Does a nice job of getting extended out front and generating separation in swing, creates some lift to path, occasionally gets to front side early. Strength projects and remains balanced in the box, can continue to make mechanical adjustments for consistency, makes good contact with loft to pull side. Very good student.
