2024 PG Underclass All-American Games
Wes Peterson is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Menlo Park, CA who attends Menlo-Atherton. Tall, projectable frame with length and room to continue to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, side steps into a belt high leg lift and a quarter turn into a crossfire delivery. Creates quality deception in windup, long arm action in the back to a three-quarter slot with obvious whip to the arm. Fastball had heavy sinking action in the upper-80s, topping at 90 mph (1855 RPM) and ran it on the hands of right-handers. Mixed tight slider at 80 mph with spins up to 2355 RPM and also showed a fading changeup at 81 mph (1744 RPM). Right-handed hitter, wider base with a low back elbow, toe tap trigger stride, compact swing with a level path and natural control of the barrel. Hit liners right back up the middle when in rhythm. Great student. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
