Ethan Sauceda is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Deer Park. Smaller frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.19 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good energy on the dirt with solid lateral range, sets glove well and shows good glove work overall with smooth transfers, moves into throws well and changes slot when needed, younger arm strength right now but effective. Athletic in the outfield too, clean funnels and transfers, solid throws to bags. Pitches too, controlled delivery and athletic down mound, fills the zone well into low-70s and can build to more, downer shape on the curveball and has feel to land it. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and rocks into his process, mostly hands-oriented approach right now with length through zone, good flashes of impact when in rhythm with the lower half, overall simple process to build on.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
