Chase Porter is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kearney, MO who attends Kearney. Medium athletic build. Very good runner, 6.35 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, comes to the ball well and fields it cleanly, sound fundamental footwork and transition into throwing, compact arm action with some carry on his throws, speed will be an asset with his range. Switch-hitter at the plate, hits from a narrow base on the left side with a small leg lift trigger, short and quick swing with some jump off the barrel, has some lift from the left side. Hits wider from the right side with a level swing plane and less bat speed. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
