JJ Grove is a 2026 SS/IF/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Wichita, KS who attends Northwest. Medium size athletic build. Middle infielder with fundamental footwork, gets the glove out front in a fundamental fielding position, the ability to move laterally some especially on the backhand, average glove actions and developing arm strength across the diamond. Hit from a medium base with load stride timing, rotational swing, tense and guided with the barrel, bat gets vertical through the zone, has real strength in the swing to impact the baseball with pull side impact and the ability to backspin the baseball. Named to Kansas City Indoor Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
