Grayson Cummings is a 2028 3B/RHP/C with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Dillsburg, PA who attends Northern York. Large, square shouldered frame with a high waist and long limbs, lean build with room to fill. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, quick mover in the dirt, hands work out front at the ball, lower slot on throws across the diamond and shows accuracy with present strength and carry, funnels into chest, makes the plays. Also pitched, stretch only operation with leg lift up to belt, loose arm action through the back working to a loose three-quarters release; fastball topped out at 77 mph, filled the strike zone, occasional gets rotational in upper half. Will continue to refine/develop breaking ball, up to 61 mph, some life to glove side but will tighten up moving forward. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open base with a tight hand set and higher back elbow. Rotational swing, works best when on a linear path, contact oriented approach. Gets downward with path at times, gets the hands through the zone quickly, projects with additional physical strength.
