Landry Boling is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Flowery Branch, GA who attends Lanier Christian Academy. Long, lean and athletic looking frame with plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.63 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary corner infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, showed some lateral range to either side and produced fairly accurate throws up to 81 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with quick pace and good downhill movements out to foot strike. Fastball peaked at 80 mph from a three-quarters arm slot, while maintaining the upper-70s throughout his outing. Developing feel for spin with loose 11-5 shaped breaking ball, tends to shorten up arm circle and really slows arm. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Took part in the outfield portion of the workout as well and is where he showed best. Displayed athletic, clean footwork into the fielding process, maintained momentum into release and produced accurate throws up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, wider base with a high hand set, high back elbow and small hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to generate bat speed and torque to his swing. Lofted stroke with some feel for the barrel and impact potential to the middle and pull sides of the field. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Projectable prospect with two-way upside.
