Easton Ahrens is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Medina, MN who attends Orono. Medium athletic build with some compact strength. Primary catcher on defense, with real quick catch and pop mechanics, athletic mover behind the plate with a clean transfer and repeatable catch and throws movements. Throws with carry and accuracy to the bag. Fundamentally sound footwork in the outfield as well, fielding the baseball out front, working through to a side shuffle to throw and making consistent accurate throws with average arm strength. Hit from a medium bas with compact rotational swings, stays balanced and hold angles well, showed the ability to control the barrel and use the whole field with developing strength and bat speed in the swing. Very good student. Named to Minnesota Indoor Top Prospect List.
