Rilen Niclai is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Service. Solid athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has soft hands fielding the ball, moves and plays under control, good lower half quickness, makes accurate throws with good carry, has all the young actions to stay in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a wider stance with an open front foot and a deep hand load, has a loose and lifting swing, has quick hands and good bat speed, consistently created big back spin for future power projection. Well rounded set of skills and tools, one of the best prospects from Alaska in recent years. Good student.
