Ben Lee is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from York, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Large strong frame that has continued to fill out and show durability. Ran 8.11 in the 60-yard dash. Primarily a RHP that works exclusively from stretch. Fastball topped 84 and showed consistent approach to attacking the strike zone with arm side run. Changeup, topping 70, showed great potential when staying on top of it allowing it to drop in arm-side. Also showed ability to get outs in 2 strike counts with a slider topping 71. As a First Baseman showed ability to generate arm strength off of the backhand with good back spun release. Will continue to speed up footwork as development occurs. Throws were accurate and firm. Topped 83mph from the infield. Hits with a wide base using a toe tap to initiate swing. Showed ability to back spin the ball into gaps. Will find more consistency in driving ball with developing lower half strength.
