Makana Moorefield is a 2026 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends IMG Academy. Smaller athletic build. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense who also plays second base and might profile better there. Comes through the ball with active feet and a clean one hand gather, makes accurate throws with some on line carry, quick release, good fundamentals, played some second base in the games and made a nice play while showing his range and hands. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short load, rotational swing with hand quickness, high contact swing, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, high energy delivery with a 3/4's arm slot, threw strikes with a fastball to 78 mph and a sharp downer curveball. Ball player type actions. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
