Matthew Mizell is a 2029 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles School. Recorded a 6.80 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Works through the ball in the outfield with proper fundamentals to gather. Clean arm stroke after gather to exchange from a lower arm slot release on throws to the bases. Solid actions moving around with things to project on moving forward. Left-handed hitter with an upright slowly open stance in the box. Hanging knee-lift trigger with linear swing path through the zone and present bat speed. Strength out front with rhythm in the hands when timed up and in sync at impact. Excellent student.
