Nick Fernandez is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from San Leandro, CA who attends San Leandro. Medium build with some thickness and strength potential. 7.70 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, step by step actions, throws uphill with soft accurate throws. Also worked out at first base, better actions at this position, fields the ball cleanly, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a simple leg raise trigger, deep hand load that can leave him late at times, contact to all fields. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow paced delivery with a long arm action and high 3/4's arm slot, low energy mechanics that he repeats well. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball and a short slider. Excellent student.
