Hayden Farrington is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Also Viejo, CA who attends Laguna Beach. Long frame, having space for more girth with some strength currently. 7.06 60 yd. Variety of developable actions as both pitcher and outfielder. As a pitcher, worked with a big side step to the high front knee striding straight and hanging before getting down the hill and using the front side well. Utilized the long frame down the hill as the compact 3/4 arm worked out flat towards second base. Fastball (up to 77) with sink to the glove-side and ability to get swings through the top of the zone. Curveball with slurved break and sprin drops the pitch into the zone. As an outfielder showed loose and long arm from wider-side release with throws having accurate carry and some arm strength (82 MPH). Offensively worked with a wider base, high hands, and a high back elbow. Frontside starts the swing as he keeps weight over the back side. Hands able to work down and through the baseball to produce liners through the middle and opposite side of the field.
