Kameron Cox is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Countryside, IL who attends Montini Catholic. Recorded a 7.00 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame. Primary shortstop with deliberate movements and solid glove work. Made all the plays and was solid working through the slow roller. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a full windup from the middle of the rubber with a small side-step into an around-the-belt leg lift with a medium, in-line stride down the mound. The hands start at the face and drop to the letters before rising with the leg to the back shoulder into a compact takeaway into a whip three- quarter arm angle. The fastball (2081 RPM) was up to 84 and was low-80s throughout and had some arm-side tail. The curveball (1488 RPM) was in the mid-60s with loose spin and 11-5 shape with some gradual break and some vertical drop. Also showed a change-up (1381 RPM) in the low-70s with good sink and fade and flashed a slider (2174 RPM) in the mid-70s. The right-handed hitter starts from wide base and a high handset with a high back elbow. Showed the barrel control in game action well collecting four hits, including a double. Exciting player with a starters mix and some two-way upside. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
