Caleb Driessen is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hamilton, OH who attends Stephen T. Badin. A taller frame with length throughout a bigger build. Physical. Ran an 8.05 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who took to the mound working from the stretch only during his outing. He showed strength and had a shorter release, working downhill from a higher three-quarters arm slot. He had some angle, finishing on the first base side of the mound. The fastball worked up to 85 mph, working north/south in the zone. Fastball had some run. He also showed a curveball with a healthy shape and good bite, working the upper-60s with spin up above the 2,250 RPM mark. He showed a changeup in the mid-70s as well, working the 1,600s. Pitched with some energy out on the mound as well. He threw 3.0 innings, with 3 walks and 1 strikeout, not allowing any earned runs. He's a right-handed hitter with a big stride forward, starting narrow in his stance. He has a big stride being able to widen it up and get on time. He shows a level swing with good bat speed, being able to impact it well with good strength if he gets to it out front. He was able to work the other way during his round of BP swings. He produced an 89 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added 2 hits in-game as well. Also worked out as a first baseman, working with a shorter arm action with simple strength across the diamond with good accuracy across. He had quick turns and good feeds on his double-play throws. He had a clean glove and had a simple round overall. Threw 88 mph across the diamond. Great student.
