2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Jean Daniel Rosa is a 2027 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Central Pointe Christian. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.20 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has active actions that will refine themselves with repetitions and experience but plenty of tools as well, throws from a lower arm slot with very good carry for his age, fields the ball cleanly, has good first step quickness, projects well defensively. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big leg raise and kick that impacts his timing and consistency, swings hard and has bat speed, looking to pull and lift the ball, shows some juice when he's synced and timed up. Very good athlete with developing skills and lots of physical projection. Excellent student. Named to the Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.
